oh my. i took a similar photo last year and thought it was a a really cool idea of the rickshaw wallah. now i realise it was just viral marketing for the movie. i’m a little dissappointed now.

if you ever come to Ahmedabad, do not miss this shop. visiting it and trying all the different sweets there is much more fun than most regular sights. i have just returned from India today and bought some yesterday.
the shop is located at Manek Chowk and is not hard to find. if you don’t, just ask, all the locals know it. :)

one old house in Ahmedabad even has a blog (unfortunately inactive since a while). pretty interesting to see how it got renovated to be liveable for the next generations. this should be done more often as newer buildings in Indian cities often look quite horrible.
